Black Swan

Yesterday, hubby and I visited a small town nearby. In the park there was a small pond with scruffy green water. However, the pond was full of life! We saw big fishes, ducks with biddies (fledglings ? I don`t know the correct word, sorry) and the Black Swan shown in my LO below.

Credits: I used my own Patchwork Paper Templates Vol 3, Basic Papers Striped Fabric, Basic Papers White and Black Polka Dots, Seaside.

The journaling at the left is the description of Black Swans copied from Wikipedia.

This set of 15 background papers (sized at 12 x 12 inches) in basic colors can be used over and over again. They can be combined with many papers that you already have in your stash without looking presumptuous. The result will always look harmonically. The backgrounds are slightly textured and they are created at 300 ppi for the best print result at 300 dpi.

This template sized at 12 x 12 inches will help you to create unique patchwork paper backgrounds from the papers that you designed or already have in your stash. The finished patckwork papers can be used for digital scrapbooking or mixed media art.
Each paper piece and it`s shadow are placed on their own layers. A layer mask for the stitching makes it easy to change the stitching color!

NOTE: This template is working properly in any version of Photoshop and it has been successfully tested in PSP! If you open the .psd file in another graphic program (e. g. PhotoImpact), you`ll loose the layer blending modes and layer masks!

The template is OK for commercial use! You may include as many flattened papers in your own kits as you want!

Youl`ll get:
1 layered .psd template with stitching, 12 x 12 inches
1 flattened .jpg file without the stitching, 12 x 12 inches

These 2 templates sized at 12 x 12 inches will help you to create unique patchwork paper backgrounds from the papers that you designed or already have in your stash. The finished patckwork papers can be used for digital scrapbooking or mixed media art.
Each paper strip and it`s shadow is placed on their own layers. Layer masks for the stitching makes it easy to change the stitching colors!
The template shown in the upper right corner of the preview comes with 70 layers! It may take a while to open the file on older computers. I`ve included a version without the overlays for the 3D look. You shouldn`t have any trouble to open this file on older PCs.
